Hepatic porphyria

An inborn disorder in which there is an abnormal increase in biological pigments or colorings (porphyrins), which are made in the liver. Signs include abnormal sensitivity to light and pain in the abdomen . The disorder usually develops after hepatitis , heavy metal poisoning , and certain anemias .
